MANTIS TABLE

The Mantis takes design cues from the studio metalwork common to New York in the first half of the 20th century. By combining the exotic figure of a Pau Ferro top with the almost industrial quality of the bronze legs, Bill Sofield heightens the drama of each. Long legs, stepped and flared, with a cross stretcher for stability.

Whether used chairside or on the move for a party, the Mantis is the kind of elegant but spicy touch that makes a room. Often used where a bulkier table would block the profile of a strong chair.
