SAVOY SIDEBOARD

The word Savoy conjures images of superb Edwardian and Art Deco design living in unexpected but spectacular balance. Bill Sofield designed this sideboard in pursuit of that same balance. From a striking center-matched Mozambique top to diamond matched door panels with an Ebony center panel, the Savoy speaks the rectilinear language of Art Deco. Highly figured wood with rare depth or chatoyance. Vertical gilt pulls complete the concentric effect of the doors. Plinth base.

The Savoy is a true sideboard - with the scale to balance a substantial dining table and the presence to anchor a great room. For some the Savoy might be a viable credenza behind the Normandie Desk.
