About This Product

A contemporary occasional chair. Tight attached back with high padded arms. Tight seat. Square post-like legs. This design recalls the architectural character of fashionable mid-century chairs. The simple geometric silhouette defines the piece, and the choice of fabric perfects it. The design of the arm owes to the profile of the designer's ridgeback dog. This is a good solution for a small conversation grouping, and it reflects the designer's preference for smaller chairs available for any occasion.

About This Collection

Interior Design magazine described Bill Sofield as “a choreographer of spaces.” Considered one of the most thoughtful design talents of his generation and a true master of Modernism, Sofield believes that design must serve the client’s individual needs and function as beautifully as it looks. Sofield’s design approach introduces creative tension that allows the character of a room to reveal itself over time. And his furniture and product design map out each object’s future, designing it to improve with use and age, as it eventually becomes  a treasured heirloom.
