About This Product

Someone has probably said that a modern tub chair can never be too slim or too deep. The Dima meets that test. The familiar but slightly exaggerated sculpture of the form makes the design. Relatively trim arms allow a generous seat and a back pillow, cleverly sized to live within the seam lines, allows excellent comfort. The base has a to-the-floor look over tapered block legs. Rather than simply modern, the Dima takes the idea of a tub chair from furniture to fashion. These are new, more athletic proportions for a new century. It floats effortlessly, altogether graceful in traffic, and it sits comfortably for both men and women. An entirely new standard. Swivel available as 360 degree or 180 degree with return-to-center mechanism.

From our origins as a humble cabinet shop in 1890 to the glamour of today’s global showroom openings, glittering Hollywood events and collaborations with world-renowned interior designers, Baker’s story is one that’s vital and evolving. Baker continues to set the standard for using the best methods for each piece. Quality at the core assures a form and feel that can only result from the highest standard of craftsmanship.

Classic meets modern with 19 new Baker Upholstery seating designs. Highlights include the Volute Swivel Chair, inspired by the simple refinement of traditional opera house gallery seating and featuring a cylindrical shape, a tight back and a loose, comfortable seat cushion; the Amoura Sofa, with sculptural vertical channel quilting, a loose cushion and knife-edge pillows for ultimate style and comfort; the Aemilius Bench, inspired by the unpredictable edges of seaside cliffs and with a tightly upholstered top for a modernist look; and the Royce Wing Chair, featuring a generous seat and fully upholstered track arm for comfort and versatility in any room.
