About This Product

A Queen Anne Chair with an upholstered back in lieu of a splat. Elongated shepherd's crook arm. Distinctive cabriole legs, with unusual splayed back legs. Nail trim. This chair owes to Lord Middleton and the family's home at Wollaton Hall - a Tudor palace filled with the work of Robert Adam, Thomas Chippendale and England's well - known portraitists. The crown suggests that it was made for the visit by the royal family. Ideal at a desk or positioned as a piece of sculpture. Optional gold decorated trim accents on crown and legs (5139D, inset). Circa 1710.

The 19 additions to The Stately Homes Collection include contemporary renditions of historic chairs, sofas, ottomans, cabinets, dining tables, and more, adding to its existing collection of over 30 pieces. In its record-breaking fifth decade, the timeless Stately Homes collection features exquisitely hand-crafted replicas of historic treasures that grace the palaces and castles of the British and Continental nobility, the princesses, lords and ladies of the stately homes: Chatsworth, Blenheim and Longleat, and palaces in Russia.
